Datasamy, Inc. doing business as Houseler ("Houseler," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Houseler platform at www.houseler.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (or Google account credentials if you sign in with Google). If you register a business, we also collect your company name, business type, phone number, and address.

Customer Data

As a CRM platform, Houseler stores data you enter about your customers, including names, phone numbers, email addresses, physical addresses, appointment history, service assets (e.g., vehicle details, property information), orders, and notes. You are the data controller for your customer data — we process it on your behalf.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, browser type, device information, IP address, and referring URLs.

SMS and Communication Data

When you use our SMS features (appointment reminders, follow-ups, marketing campaigns), we store message content, delivery status, timestamps, and recipient phone numbers. Inbound SMS messages from your customers are also stored.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). We do not store your full credit card number. We may store partial card details (last four digits, expiration date) and billing address for your records.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process your account registration and manage your subscription
  • Send transactional communications (account verification, password resets, billing notifications)
  • Deliver SMS messages on your behalf to your customers (reminders, follow-ups, campaigns)
  • Generate analytics and reports about your business performance
  • Provide customer support
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers: Third parties that help us operate the Service, including Twilio (SMS delivery), Google (authentication), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (hosting), and Stripe (payments). These providers only access data necessary to perform their services.
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. SMS Messaging

Houseler enables business owners to send SMS appointment reminders and marketing messages to their customers. Business owners are solely responsible for obtaining proper consent from their customers prior to sending messages via the Houseler platform. Customer phone numbers are not shared with third parties. Recipients may opt out at any time by replying STOP.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes. Customer data you enter into the platform is retained until you delete it or close your account.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encrypted database connections, and secure authentication. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights
